How To Find Old New York

Regular price £8.00

We’ve gathered a collection of what remains of the real Manhattan we love; places to gladden the hearts of jaded natives and hopeful visitors alike.

There’s a midtown deli that’s not corny, a cinematic neighborhood punk bar that still has its rough edges, and a couple of welcome escapes from the agitation of Times Square. We have an international magazine dealer, a century-old private club of a society of bibliophiles, a steamy lunch counter, and a commuter bar where you’ll nosh on the ocean’s finest while the city buzzes around you. Cheap drinks and splurges, pickles, and of course, pizza. They all still feel like our town.

What unifies these disparate places is that they’re the real thing; whether glamorous or down-at-the-heel, they’re linked to old New York in a way that retro refabs and phoney speakeasies can never be.

All this is a new-format fold-out guide, which concertinas to reveal 10 A5 panels, litho-printed on sturdy, luxurious 300gsm stock.
