Illustrated Ivy
Illustrated Ivy is an overview of Ivy League style depicted in a series of endearing, impeccably detailed illustrations by Kazuo Hozumi. Since their 1963 debut in the Japanese magazine Men’s Club, Hozumi’s cheerful Ivy boys and girls have acted as guides to shifting styles within the pantheon of Ivy League clothing. In addition to cataloguing a subtly evolving style of dress, Hozumi has gathered a cult following for his beguiling, deceptively simple approach.
Illustrated Ivy is the first time Kazuo Hozumi’s Ivy illustrations have been available with his accompanying text in English.
